Hi,

I'm Juan!
I've seen software from almost every seat: the demo, the discovery call and the weekly check-in. Now I'm in the UX designer's seat.

"Juan approached this process positively and demonstrated a willingness to listen, incorporate feedback, and improve his work rather than treating an initial design as the final answer."

About
For 10 years, I worked with healthcare and education clients at Phreesia, Tebra and Amplifire. I ran demos, led discovery calls and met every week with clinic staff and enterprise leaders. A big part of my job was bringing what clients told me back to our Product teams. I didn't have the title yet, but I was already doing the part of UX I love most: understanding what people need and why.
Today I'm a UX designer, trained through Designlab's UX Academy. I'm especially drawn to healthcare, where I spent my career, and to people who feel left behind by technology. I care about plain language, accessibility and testing with real people. My projects keep proving that one unclear word can make someone give up.
